Quality-Enhancing Techniques for Model-Based Reconstruction in Magnetic Particle Imaging

Magnetic Particle Imaging is an imaging modality that exploits the non-linear magnetization response of superparamagnetic nanoparticles to a dynamic magnetic field. In multivariate case, measurement-based reconstruction approaches are common and involve system matrix whose acquisition time consuming needs be repeated whenever scanning setup changes. Our approach relies on formulae derived from mathematical model MPI signal encoding. A particular feature corresponding algorithms these independent trajectories. this paper, we present basic ways leveraging independence property enhance quality by merging data different scans. particular, show how combine scans same specimen under rotation angles. We demonstrate potential proposed techniques with numerical experiments.
